The Roxburgh Practice is situated in Greenock and has a practice population of approximately 6000.

We are based in a modern health centre where you will have your own consulting room and twin computer monitors.

The practice is a deep-end practice – one of the 100 most deprived in Scotland. We see lots of pathology and what you will do will really make a difference.

We have 2 drug clinics per week run in conjunction with specialist drug workers; offer a contraceptive service encompassing coils and implants and run a cryotherapy service. All areas in which you can participate  and gain experience according to your interests and needs.

We have a practice based community psychiatric nurse dealing with minor to moderate psychiatric issues. Our pharmacy team run regular a pain clinic; respiratory clinic and iatrogenic addiction clinic.

Our meeting programme runs on a rolling basis encompassing business; palliative care; vulnerable children and clinical. We would value your experience at our clinical meetings and are open to sharing ours both formally and informally at our daily morning coffee.

We have 4 GP’s, 2 practice nurses, a health care assistant, 3 health visitors, 3 district nurses and an affiliated midwife as well as out competent and supportive administration team. We are open to innovation and value all new ideas.

We are 35 minutes from Glasgow by car- straight down the M8 where you can wave at the traffic jam heading the other way- there is even a costa coffee en route. Or if you prefer we have a secure storage area for bikes and a shower.
